A barbershop on a corner plot needed coverage of two frontages rather than one, which is a more awkward brief than it sounds: cameras have to cover both approaches without either one ending up pointed at the pavement or the neighbouring premises.
We ran exterior cameras across both elevations to cover the full frontage, then added discreet ceiling-mounted cameras inside covering the shop floor and the fire exit route. Interior cameras in a customer-facing business need care: high enough to be out of the way, low enough to record faces at head height rather than the tops of heads, and positioned so customers in the chair do not feel watched.
For a retail premises this also brings responsibilities beyond the install: signage, a documented reason for recording, and ICO registration. We walked the owner through what applied before we started.
