M&J Fire & Security is a fire, security and connectivity company installing high-quality systems for homes and businesses. We’re based in Bishop's Stortford and work across Hertfordshire and Essex, taking on larger commercial and specialist projects nationwide.
We’re a small, hands-on outfit: the people who quote your job are the people who turn up and do it. Nothing is subcontracted out, which is how we keep the standard consistent.
Between us we cover CCTV, intruder alarms, fire detection, access control and structured data cabling, which means a single visit can often handle what would otherwise take three different trades.
How we work
Neat workmanship
Cable routing is where most installations fall down. We run cable through lofts, along mortar lines and behind downpipes so the finished job looks like it belongs on the building. It’s the thing customers mention most in our reviews.
Honest advice
If you don’t need eight cameras, we’ll tell you. If your existing alarm can be repaired rather than replaced, we’ll say so. We’d rather do a smaller job well and be asked back.

Aftercare that exists
